Meet the Pastor

Tyler Hettich | Lead Pastor

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tyler Hettich and I am the founding pastor of Church at the Creek.  I wanted to briefly introduce myself, but would much prefer to meet you sometime in person.

I am married to my wonderful wife Alisa and together we have two great kids, Tytus and Riley.  My passion is to try to make my community a better place, so I have coached both football and baseball at Vista PEAK Prep, been a volunteer Chaplain for the Aurora Police Department, and have served in many volunteer roles in Aurora Public Schools.

It is such an honor to be the pastor of the wonderful community that is Church at the Creek!  So again, I would love to personally connect with you.  So send me an email and we can get together. info@ChurchAtTheCreek.org

Grace and Peace,

Tyler Hettich

What We Believe

Simply put we believe our ultimate hope is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. With that being said at Church at the Creek we think that the best way to process faith is through reading the Bible, prayer, and conversations with others.

Below is a simple belief statement that has been widely accepted throughout history by Christians from around the world. However, if you have questions about our beliefs or faith in general we would love to talk to you some time.

We are not intimidated by tough questions or differences of opinions, but instead, we believe that we all grow when we seriously investigate the big questions of life!  So send us a note and we can talk. info@ChurchAtTheCreek.org

And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only begotten Son of God,
begotten of his Father before all worlds,
God of God, Light of Light,
very God of very God,
begotten, not made,
being of one substance with the Father;
by whom all things were made;

I believe in one God,
the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
and of all things visible and invisible;

and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried;
and the third day he rose again
according to the Scriptures,
and ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of the Father;
and he shall come again, with glory,
to judge both the quick and the dead;
whose kingdom shall have no end.

who for us men and for our salvation
came down from heaven,
and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost
of the Virgin Mary,
and was made man;

And I believe in the Holy Ghost the Lord, and Giver of Life,
who proceedeth from the Father [and the Son];
who with the Father and the Son together
is worshipped and glorified;
who spake by the Prophets.
And I believe one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church;
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins;
and I look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

AMEN.
